Welp- it's over and my boss will cry all week about how Peyton didn't get another ring. He aint no Troy or Joe or Roger or Terry. AS Jimmy Johnson said during a interview on ESPN, "I could have used Troy differently and broke every passing record that existed and set new records that would never be broke but we were in it to win championships and Troy understood that. You don't win super bowls by breaking passing records". reflex264

Saints woulda lost cept they caught a couple of breaks. Dumb luck that.

If Peyton hadnt thrown that interception, they woulda scored, then recovered an onside kick and gotten it down the field in 90 seconds with the two remaining time outs and tied it up.

Then they were supposed to go into overtime, win the coin toss and send Obama's pick for the game, home to NOLA empty handed.

But we were robbed. :pan:

Peyton will still get rich with Mastercard commercials, and is young enough to come back and win 3 straight Superbowls. So there. Bradshow got nuffin on him.

Ok, an update: Rush Limbaugh just reported that Obamanation flip-flopped on the Couric interview and picked the Colts. So, I guess things turned out as they should. What he picked, lost. :raz:

we'll catch up with the Colts next year. icon_thumright.gif

Got nothing against the Colts, but am glad the Saints won. They did catch some breaks BUT cant take anything away from that Defence. The offence took some time to get it going but when they did it sure did the job. Second half was played almost flawless on the Saints part. Manning just didnt look that good in the second half. Most of the time was spent on the bench. :raz: Colts D was plain worn out in the second half. Good for "Who Dat" icon_cheers.gif
